The Eucharistic
Prayer (Latin Prex Eucharistic Prayer, t he name used in the Roman Catholic Church), anaphora (common name in the Eastern Churches) is a central element of the mass, form part of the Eucharistic liturgy. Followed by the preparation of o fferings, and precedes the Communion rites. During the Eucharistic prayer prepared offerings are consecrated and made the sacrifice. The Roman Missal has four basic variants of the Eucharistic Prayer, which depends on the choice of the celebrant, but it depends also on the principles contained in the provisions of liturgical (OWMR).
